Pitch up at this small, back-to-basics campsite for a rural, wild camping experience.
You’ll find Chiplands along the road from Corfe Castle toward Kimmeridge and Tyneham, just beyond the village of Church Knowle.
Handy for a walking or cycling break, this relatively secluded little site is just a short distance from Church Knowle’s pub The New Inn, and around a seven-minute drive from all the amenities of Corfe village and about 20 minutes from Swanage. You can easy hike out into the Purbeck countryside from here, and up onto the famous Purbeck Ridgeway, which you can walk along all the way to Swanage.
The campsite has grass-only pitches (no electric hook-ups), along with toilets and wash basins, and welcomes tents, caravans and motorhomes.
Chiplands is a Camping and Caravanning Club certificated site and is open every year from April to the end of October.
