Turn into Soldier’s Road, where you’ll pass Lenctenbury Farm on your left (which is an excellent spot for fruit-picking in the Sumer, its pumpkin patch at Halloween, and high-quality, non-drop Christmas tree in late November/early December). Hartland’s heathland with fantastic walking routes flank the road either side, and the entrance to both Hartland Stud and Camp Hartland is just a few hundred metres down Soldier’s Road on your left. You can also approach from the opposite direction via Arne Road.
