This unique campsite on the outskirts of Swanage offers glamping with a difference – with its five fully-equipped safari tents being ideal for families or larger groups.
The large tents sleep up to six people and include a king-sized bed, comfy double and twin, along with a rustic kitchen area, complete with dining table, chairs, sofa and a wood-burning stove.
Each tent has its own private loo and shower facilities, as well as seating on an outside decked area – a BBQ with coal is supplied.
Towels and bedding are provided and there are also electric points for charging your phone, so all you need to bring is yourselves.
Knaveswell is a working farm, and visitors are welcome to watch the cows being milked in the afternoon and meet any resident animals such as piglets and lambs, and help with bottle-feeding. It’s perfectly-located for exploring Swanage, Corfe Castle, Studland and the Purbeck Ridgeway.

Shepherd hut
In addition to the safari tents, you can enjoy a cosy few nights away in your very own shepherd hut.

Knaveswell Farm Cottage
There’s also a two-bedroom self-catering cottage on-site that can be booked separately or in addition to your glamping adventure.

It comes with a fully-equipped kitchen, its own garden and plenty of creature comforts such as a large TV and selection of DVDs, board games and books for a home-from-home experience.
The log burner comes with an initial supply of logs, with further bundles available to buy (colder months only)
