Tariffs and booking

Choose either a long weekend, a week, or extended periods for exploring further afield – vans can make a great choice if you live locally and want to go off on a road trip adventure.

As with most self-catering accommodation options prices for campervan hire vary seasonally. Tariffs range from £350 for a weekend or short break in low season to &20 for a full week in high season.

A full, up-to-date price list can be found on Kombi Klassics’ campervan rental site: www.vwcampervanrental.co.uk/rates

Festivals hire

Be the envy of your fellow festival-goers by staying in a VW campervan. Not only is it a great way to experience a festival, but staying in a classic camper means you don’t have the fuss – or the mud – of pitching a tent, and can be the perfect try-before-you-buy test-run if you’re thinking of one day owning your own campervan.

Some of the most popular festivals the fleet at Kombi Klassics head out to each year include the Isle of Wight Festival, Glastonbury, Larmer Tree, and of course our very own Camp Festival, held every summer on the Lulworth Estate.

Note that these – especially local festivals, such as Bestival – get booked up early, so it’s best to enquire in advance to reserve your favourite van.

Wedding & events hire

One of Dorset's Weddingwagens, the VW 65 splitty in off-white

Some of the VW hire fleet are also available for special events and celebrations – why not book a chauffeur-driven classic VW camper for your Dorset wedding to add a special, vintage touch of class to your day, or book a self-drive hire to take your loved ones on a memorable journey to your Dorset destination?

The team at the aptly-named Weddingwagens caters for couples as well as friends and family attending your special day. Vans are dressed in ribbons and bows for the event, and include a chauffeur.

So if you’re planning transport for the Big Day or your child and their friend’s prom night, a class VW could be the icing on the cake.

Weddingwagens are available for hire across Dorset, Hampshire, Devon and Somerset, as well as for media and corporate events.

Tariffs for Weddingwagens

The price of classic VW for your big day will depend on which van you choose, how long you require the van for, and how far you’ll need it to travel.

The addition of a chauffeur comes as standard and is included in the hire price, and gives that extra-special touch of style as they are always impeccably-dressed, polite and experienced with working at special events to help make the day go without a hitch.

Email or call to enquire about booking – ask about discounts for hiring multiple vehicles.

VW specialist servicing & sales

If you’re lucky enough to be an owner of a much-coveted VW camper, Kombi Klassics is also your first port-of-call for restoration and repairs.

The team’s knowledge and expertise, and extensive spare parts stock – including parts that can be hard to come by – make them a trusted and invaluable source for all things VW, whether that’s help with the refurbishment of your van, or repairing something before your next trip.

If it’s always been your dream to own a VW, get in touch with the team to enquire about sales, or hire one of the fleet to try before you buy and see if classic caravanning is for you.
