North View Campsite

Caravan & motorhome site just outside Swanage with great views of the Purbeck countryside

This small site dedicated to caravans and motorhomes is set beneath the Purbeck Ridgeway and on the edge of Harman’s Cross village.

With just five pitches you’re guaranteed a nature-filled break away from the madding crowd, and you can easily get out into the countryside with walking paths direct from the campsite.

The Caravan & Motorhome Club site is the sister site of Quarr Camping across the road.

Handily located just off the Valley Road, you’re easily connected to Swanage and Corfe Castle, whilst being surrounded by rolling countryside.

There are two convenience stores (a Spar and a Londis within petrol stations) nearby, where you can find various food, drink and camping essentials. Corfe has four pubs, a village shop and bakery, and Swanage has two supermarkets and a range of shops, eateries and beach-side activities.

Facilities at the site include drinking water and Elsan Points, however there are no toilets or showers.

North View Campsite is dog-friendly and open year-round (unless very heavy rain), and there’s various dog-friendly beaches in the vicinity.

Swanage Railway’s heritage line has a stop in Harman’s Cross and the seasonal No. 30 bus runs through the village, stopping just outside the campsite.
